Doom Charts for 2026.01

Doom Charts for january 2026 are here!

It has quite a few releases I had also picked up as my favourites, here’s few from my top picks Giant, Lord Elephant, Tarlung, Wild Fuzz Trip, Undulathund, Pelican and Gavran to name few.

But the list I submitted had releases that aren’t on the chart at all, few of them because they’re older releases and I found about them later, some of them might be outside the scope of the other people participating and some just obscure enough that nobody picked them up.

Here’s few I think should to be mentioned:
Gylt - In 1,000 Agonies, I Exist (very aggro punk/noise rock)
In A House Of Heartbeats - Divination Of Dreams (instrumental doomish post-rock)
Nothing3000 - Philosophy Of Infinity (instrumental stoner post-rock)
Opal Ashes - *Opal Ashes* (rocking alt-pop)
Karambolage - Skælmsk (instrumental stoner rock with post-rock vibes)
Summer Of Hate - Blood & Honey (emo alt-rock shoegaze with light post-punk vibes)
Lychgate - Precipice (2025.12 release, darkener prog death metal)
Mindbloom - Bocal Session (Live at Le Bocal) (2025.12 release, massive post-rock sound with stoner vibes)
The Grasshopper Lies Heavy - Heavy (2025.11 release, they’re all over the place, try ‘em!)

And finally Mr. Dibbs Brown Acid “The Essential Mix”, which will probably pop up in the charts peroration post later this month.
