Few releases for 8.5.2026: Warp Transmission, The Dead At Sea, Liquify

Warp Transmission is a Finnish rock group, employing many a genre in their brand of music, one might call it psychedelic noisey garage rock. The new album is called “Excess Currents” and I’ve taken a big liking to it, while their 2015 “Tamám Shud” is still my most favourite.

I’d describe The Dead At Sea’s new album “III” with words like ambient, psychedelic and post-rock and whatever else but first and foremost it is very pretty. These Birminghamians are definately doing something right and I love them for it.

Washington based Liquify is a one man projectand the latest album “Voyage to the Outer Worlds” is also very pretty. I would also call the music psychedelic rock, but it has a bit more teeth and attitude leaning into the doomier side of things.
