Releases for 6.3.2026 - Snuffrider, Psychedelic Source, From Yuggoth

Shrike

This friday found me scanning for few tidbits to drop here and to my surprise it wasn’t at all difficult. Here’s three new releases I’ve found very enjoyable.

First one is a psychedelic noise rock band Snuff Rider from Tampere, Finland. They’ve got some garage and krautrock vibes, but they’re best experienced live. Some of the guys also play in Warp Transmission, which is also worth a listen for any fan of psych/space rock.
A disclaimer is in order tho; I know several of the musicians and some of them I call friends.

Psychedelic source records is a Hungarian psychedelic rock collective, they record improvised jam sessions which I enjoy quite a lot. Some of them sound quite planned to me, which I’m not saying as a bad thing nor am I saying they fake it or whatever. I’m saying it’s very good.
This one is called Prayer for a Divine Flood, it was recorded in late 2025 and it’s already coming out on vinyl as well.

The German stoner and doom band From Yuggoth grabbed my attention immediately, just because of the Cthulhu references. I was pleasently surprised when they delivered proper riffage and crushing soundscapes to accompany their message of cosmic destruction.
