Trying something new with this one. I’ll make a quick post and infodump on albums that are about to be released which I’ve had the chance to listen to.
I’m going to try pick bands that aren’t the biggest, that made an positive impact on me and that are well worth a listen.
First one is a instrumental post-rock band Bruecken and their album Years That Answer. They paint a beautiful atmosphere with their post-rock vibes, while they do have some vocals on the record, I feel like it is more flavour and think of them as an instrumental band.

Second release is by Magnify The Sound from Norway and it’s called Searching For A Quiet Place. The musicians have a wide array of groups in their past, including The 3rd & The Mortal and a jazz drummer/PhD musicologist.
The album is rich with folk ambience, very pretty but also forlorn feelings, gorgeous instrumentation and vocals to suit.

Third album is by Weedpecker with their latest and unsurprisingly named fifth album V. They’re a Polish heavy psych/stoner rock band that have been around for quite some time. This new one is quite beautiful, while it can be severely heavy as well, as they have the psychedelic vibe as well as the modern doomy heaviness that is considered “stoner metal/doom” today.
For some reason I keep thinking of them as an instrumental group, while I know they have some vocals, so I guess their music is so jam oriented that I tend to forget. Or something.
