Once again, three recent releases that I can recommend for yet another friday, with an extra bonus at the end.
Oh, just FYI: Subscribers get a heads up immediately when I post, everyone else on friday at whatever time it’s made public.
First a brand new acquaintance, a band called Lesotho, whom released A Flashing On Plain Glass, which I would call an EP even with it’s 28 minutes of duration. They play instrumental post-rock with atmospheric metal stylings, which I’ve enjoyed quite a bit.

Another new acquaintance called Prophets of Thwaites, whom I’d describe as psychedelic doomgaze band, whom released Vulnerant Omnes Ultima Necat EP. I’d highly recommend taking a listen to the older stuff as well, since this one has only two songs.

And a third newcomer to my sphere of knowledge, is called Desert Collider and their enthusiastically named Generation Ship: Endless Drift through Infinity -album. They could be described as playing heavy psych stoner rock, which is another mouthful of an genre label.

Finally as a last minute bonus, take a listen to Yourprettyplaceisgoingtohell by The Heads. It just came out today on 20.3.2026 to almost everyones surprise, as they quit some years ago and this is new material. It's punk-ish and garage-y, aggressively bluesy, fuzzed out and drugged up rock music with gnashing teeth that want to gnaw on your ears. Nice!
